Interactive Policy Making

Interactive Policy Making is an EU initiative aimed at making EU policies, which are more suited to the needs of citizens, consumers and companies. This initiative functions through the Business Feedback Mechanism (BFM) which is managed by the members of the Enterprise Europe Network. The objective of this mechanism is to collect and record problems encounter by companies that are related to the EU Internal Market.

How does it work?
If you consider that your company is facing a problem at any phase of its business activity or development, and which is related to the functioning of the Internal Market (e.g. free movement of goods, CE marking, intellectual property rights, public contracts, competition, e-commerce, taxation, customs, etc.), then please contact the nearest Enterprise Europe Network centre in your region.
The Enterprise Europe Network will encode and submit your case to the confidential database of the European Commission, which is accessed and consulted by all those involved in making future EU policies.

What are the benefits?
- We analyse your problem and provide you with initial advice on what steps you need to follow in order to solve it.
- Thus you contribute to the awareness-raising process by informing the relevant EC bodies of the problem encountered.
- You also contribute in the drawing up of EU law and policies related to your business activity.
